  Early Life of King Henry VIII. Henry VIII was born on the 28th of June in Greenwich, near London. He was the second son of Henry VII and Elizabeth of York. His father was the first Tudor king of England, while his mother was the daughter of Edward IV, the first Yorkist king of England. Henry had an older brother, Arthur, who was born in Author: Dhwty.
